HFM BOCES is accepting applications for an anticipated vacancy for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Principal/Administrative Coordinator for Career and Technical Education (CTE).

The Administrative Coordinator for CTE assists the CTE Principal in directing, coordinating, supervising and evaluating the programs, activities and staff of the 17 CTE programs that are offered. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Collaborate with 11 different component high schools on shared students

Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their students
-
Handle student management;

Assist in the marketing of the CTE programs to prospective students and parents including large group presentations;

Provide leadership and curriculum development;
-
Lead building wide initiatives such as the attendance committee;
-
Maintain current knowledge of new developments in curriculum and instruction;

Participate in the NYSED program approval or CLNA process
-
Handle any student conduct issues that may arise;

Manage attendance of students
-
Assist in the orientation of new staff;

Implement Board of Education policies;

Organize and administer all post-assessments and technical assessments
The successful candidate will be results-driven and expected to demonstrate positive leadership and interpersonal skills with staff and students in dynamic programs with future career, college, or military expectations.
*Salary commensurate with experience.
NYS certification as a School Building Leader (SBL) or School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) is required. At least 5 years of teaching experience is preferred.
