HFM BOCES Special Education has an opening and is accepting applications for a 10-month, full-time, tenure track School Social Worker. There may be an additional opportunity for summer work for the Extended School Year Program. 

HFM BOCES Special Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will serve students at our program locations in Mayfield, Gloversville, Johnstown, Canajoharie and Fort Plain.

In this role, you will:

  • Support students, classrooms, and families
  • Provide positive behavior supports and interventions
  • Advocate for student needs
  • Offer guidance within a nurturing, therapeutic learning environment
