HFM BOCES is accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month Administrative Coordinator for PTECH. The Administrative Coordinator for PTECH assists the PTECH Principal in directing, coordinating, supervising and evaluating the programs, activities and staff of the PTECH program. The Administrative Coordinator for PTECH receives general direction from the PTECH Principal, exercises supervision over school staff, and acts as the leader of the PTECH Program when the PTECH Principal is absent.

Essential Functions

•    Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and screening of building staff;
•    Assist in the orientation of new staff;
•    Assist in the planning and execution of the Summer Bridge Program;
•    Provide leadership and curriculum development;
•    Maintain current knowledge of new developments in curriculum and instruction;
•    Implement Board of Education policies;
•    Assist in the development of the master schedule; and
•    Conduct classroom observations, staff conferences and provide written evaluation reports as assigned.

Math or Computer Science TeacherPTECH-Math Teacher 24/25

P-TECH Early College High School is accepting applications for a full-time 10-month Math teaching position with some days over the summer.  This is a full-time tenure-track position.

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Have a complete understanding of and commitment to the “teacher as facilitator/coach” model. 

  • Understand project-based learning and interdisciplinary instruction. 

  • Embrace digital learning. 

  • Are inquiry based, real world based, and performance based. 

  • Want to stimulate innovation. 

  • Are committed to a workplace culture that encourages innovation. 

  • Believe the power of learning resides in the student. 

  • Are committed to the belief that all students, especially those who are “at-risk” can succeed.

  • Ability to teach College in the High School math course (at least 20 college math credits with full calculus sequences preferred)

  • Get excited about the possibility of vertical alignment between college and high school math content

  • Desire to incorporate math into real-world, interdisciplinary projects (extensive training provided)
