Social Studies Teacher (P-TECH Early College High School)HFM25/26 PTECH S.S.

P-TECH Early College High School is accepting applications for a full-time 10-month Social Studies teaching position with some days over the summer.  This full-time tenure-track position has an anticipated start date of September 1, 2025.

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Have a complete understanding of and commitment to the “teacher as facilitator/coach” model. 

  • Understand project-based learning and interdisciplinary instruction. 

  • Embrace digital learning. 

  • Are inquiry based, real world based, and performance based. 

  • Want to stimulate innovation. 

  • Are committed to a workplace culture that encourages innovation. 

  • Believe the power of learning resides in the student. 

  • Are committed to the belief that all students, especially those who are “at-risk” can succeed.

  • Get excited about the possibility of vertical alignment between college and high school social studies content

  • Desire to incorporate social studies into real-world, interdisciplinary projects (extensive training provided)
